How are the courses structured?
Each course follows a module-based flow: concept brief, systems exploration, prototype, playtest, iterate, and present. You’ll receive templates for scorecards and debriefs.
Do I need prior experience?
No. We offer beginner tracks that teach fundamentals: core loops, win conditions, player agency, and turn structure. Advanced tracks assume previous design attempts.
What playtesting support is included?
You’ll learn to recruit groups ethically, run hypothesis-driven sessions, log observations, and apply data to tuning decisions. We provide debrief frameworks and facilitation tips.
How long does each course take?
Most courses run 8–20 hours of instruction, plus time for at-home prototyping and playtests between modules.
Are there certificates?
Yes, you’ll earn a digital certificate upon completing required assignments and a final design review, which you can share on professional networks.
What tools do I need?
Paper, markers, sleeves, standard dice, and spreadsheet software for early prototypes. Digital whiteboards are optional but helpful for remote collaboration.
What is the refund policy?
Full refunds within 7 days of purchase if you haven’t accessed more than 20% of a course. After that, partial credit may apply depending on progress.
Do you offer team licenses?
Yes. Teams get shared dashboards, cohort scheduling, and manager reports. Contact us for volume pricing.
Can I get feedback on my prototype?
Absolutely. Instructor office hours and community critique circles help you refine rules, pacing, and component choices.
Will this help me publish?
We teach research, positioning, and publisher-friendly pitches. While we can’t guarantee publication, you’ll be equipped to approach the process professionally.
How do I access course materials after enrollment?
All resources are available in your personal dashboard with lifetime access and quarterly content updates.
